What's Ahead

Hi everyone!
I trust that you are all well. I am doing fairly well. I am really excited for work to start back soon. I miss the kids and am anxious to get my paycheck so I can start doing stuff. Shortly after I start work I will be getting a used car then after I will be moving out. I am eager to start my life of my own. I'm beginning to get really tired of everything that's going on and almost ready to give up. I know God has a reason and will work it out for my good.

This year we are doing a Hometown Nazareth theme for Vacation Bible school. Yesterday was the first day and they got to take a tour of it all. It was a really good night. I am really looking forward to the next few days and seeing what God has in store. Tonight's Bible point is Jesus has a name...we do too! Please keep VBS in your prayers.

Hey Everyone!

It is not everyday that I get up at 3:00 I promise! Since I am up, I guess I will write a little about what has been going on...alot! Summer classes start today~I'm taking two classes online and one class on campus plus working. My energy has been really zapped lately and I think it is because of all the stress. It reminds me that my strength is not in myself but in Christ alone! Today is going to be a long day, but I know it will be filled with many blessings.

Hey everyone!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! To be completely honest, mine has not been the greatest, but I'm thankful to be alive. This is the day that the Lord has made even if everything is going wrong! This past week, I completed two of my final exams (education and religion) I'm very excited to have those done with. I only have two more to go next week. I am so glad that we get a break after school for a few weeks. This summer I am working and taking classes. I sent in my application to USF. I need to be patient and wait until I get the reply. Meanwhile, I have to take the FTCE (general knowledge) test sometime. Lord-willing, in January I will be starting USF. I think it would be really neat to live on campus but we will see later on if I'm going to be able to do that.

Hey there,
Just going to write a quick note because it has been such a busy day. Work was amazing and I got off at 1pm. Thankfully I dont have to go in tomorrow so I get a break! This afternoon I went and had an interview. It went well and he even said that I did a very nice job, but I dont think I got the job because they wanted someone to start right away. But hey if I get a call then I'll take it but we will see. I got an email about another job at a school and I'll find more about that one tomorrow!! I know something will come around pretty soon and I'm excited about it!! Planning on taking it easy tomorrow and sleeping in. Going to read, listen to music, and journal.

God works in amazing ways!

God has been working in ways that I've never thought. He is amazing because of who He is! Ok so honestly I'm a bit confused at everything that has been happening but I'm trusting God to get me through. Starting Monday, I contacted places that I had applied to and already I have two interviews. I have one this afternoon at 3:30. I'm so excited! If I get this job it will be 2-11pm and weekends. The other job is a education job but they have not contacted me for an interview yet. So we will see. Crazy things have been happening and I'm just focusing on being myself. I love my family and just because sometimes when I'm stressed I talk to other people doesnt mean that I dont love them. I do love them and I thank God for everything they do. But on the same note, I am eager to move out to simply start a life of my own =) No matter what the future holds I know that my Savior is always there for me.

Will write more and tell you how my interview went, bye all.

Ready to Go

Hey Everyone:
I trust everyone had a good Christmas! I was able to spend a few days up with
my brother in Michigan which I really enjoyed!! He is doing really good and I
love his graduation pictures. It was really special to be up there this year.
All of the cousins were getting really old and tall. It was great seeing
everyone~I have everyone's phone numbers so I can stay in touch!!

I'm really excited about school starting back on the 10th. Yea I know it may
sound like I'm a nerd, but I like being able to focus and apply to my mind to
something especially when there are things going on. Also having 8am classes
will motivate me more to get up everyday and run! I'm hoping to be able to run
a marathon soon!!

I'm so thankful that I know the God I serve

Hey everyone!
Sorry that it has been so long since I've posted. Tomorrow I'm going to fly up to Michigan to see my brother. I'm so excited. Last night I was really sick but thankfully I'm feeling better thanks to my mom making honeycomb tea and a bunch of rest. Work has been pretty good but it will be nice for a break. Yesterday, the kids wanted me to play tag with them but I told them no lol. When I get back I will have plenty of pictures to upload and will start applying for more jobs =)

Oh by the way I got a 3.0 for this semester. My overall GPA right now is a 2.5 which is what you need to get itno education. I'm hoping it will be a 3.0 overall though by the time I am done so that way I can go to USF in Tampa. Classes start back on the 10th. I'm going to have a full load..every day I have classes starting at 8am!! I cant wait to start next semester, but I'm planning on enjoying my time that I'm not in class. I hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS =)

Get set, Ready, Go!!!

Hey everyone!
I have been doing a lot and it seems like time quickly disappears on me. We must take each and every day as we are running a race...even when we get injuried, have sorrows, victories and defeats. I havent always been "ready" as much as I want to be but you just have to go out and make it the best you can do.
We need to stop worrying about how ready we are and just go!

Hi,
On Thursday I had an amazing time hanging out with friends!! I wasnt sure if I wanted to go but I ended up going and I'm sure glad I did =) Today I have been getting things ready for work on Monday. I went in today and got my background check. To say the least that was a very interesting experience and I was thankful when I was able to leave. Just wasnt one of those places where I felt safe to hang out lol. Sunday I'm planning on going to BayLife Church in the evening. I'm really excited but at the same time nervous. I decided it was time for a change and wanted to get invovled with a church that has more ministries. Not saying there is anything wrong with the church I'm going to at...just time for me to move on to another place. Hope you have a great rest of the evening.

It's been raining here alot!! But I have been enjoying it so much. It makes me think of Noah's Ark and the beautiful rainbow that was God's promise never to flood the earth with water. There is something so relaxing about not getting wet, but hearing rain drops falling on the rooof. Honestly, I have been thinking of how much God "showers" on us each and every day...blessings, mercy, grace, love, protection, opportunities to serve, challenges and obstacles to overcome...the list can go on forever. I'm so thankful for how much God gives to me even though I don't deserve it. Today I came across a definition of obsessed: to have the mind excessively preocupied with a single topic or emotion. (In the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan).

Hi!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I was able to get out this afternoon and run 4 and 1/2 miles..it was pretty neat. I'm so thankful for the strength God gives me and allows me to run. Its pretty cool to realize
that God made us and that any given moment He could take it all from us...God is that good and powerful!
I enjoyed the peace and the quietness as I ran. What a beautiful day it has been!! Off to church in a little bit!

Hey!!
In a little bit I will be hanging out with Lauren. She wants to go bike riding!
It should be a fun day. I enjoy hanging out with friends =)

I have my slide show just about done. When I get back I will have
to burn it to a CD. It is strange to think that a week ago we were
just getting back from SMT. I miss it but then again I'm thankful
for the fact that its done. This way we can put into practice what
was taken to heart. Psalms 91 is a very good chapter to read if
you get a chance. Well just enjoying my summer. I hope all is well
with you.

Hey there,
I just got back on Saturday from SMT. I had a great time and it is so strange being back. I already miss all of the campers, staff, and the other team members. Even after a couple of days off I have realized how un-focused in a sense I was. Instead of being focused on Christ my thoughts would be on way over on the other side of the spectrum. I have really been challenging myself to not let my summer be a waste (in the sense that I just did it for the $ and didnt take anything away from it). I have been working maintaining a stronger commitment to spending more time with Him. I'm so excited for school to start and to start working at TBCA! Mission trip to Haiti on the 27th of Dec-please keep in your prayers.
